DOG WALKER for WLTDO in San Francisco Only

Dog Walking Company based in San Francisco for over a decade seeks full-time dog walker extraordinaire to devote unconditional love to San Francisco’s Dogs and help them get adequate exercise & socialization. *Company vehicle provided*Clean & VALID CA Drivers License is Required.

Job Details:

*Full-time* Monday-Friday, approximately 9:00am-3pm with room for more hours as clients are added
- Pick-up 6-8 dogs per group along a neighborhood route and take them to a local off-leash dog park.
**Each walker is responsible for 2-3 separate pack walks daily in assigned neighborhood. Each pack/group walk consists of 1-hour+ at park caring for 6-8 dogs per group (total 12-20 pups daily).
Daily flow looks like: pickup group #1 ---> dogwalk ---> drop offs & pick ups group #2 ---> dog walk etc.
- Company provides and pays for required permits, van maintenance, and necessary supplies. You are expected to keep company vehicle clean and sanitary at all times.

Duties and responsibilities:

- At the park, engage with the pack of pups to make sure they are playing appropriately, safe, and having fun!
- Take photos of the pack and pick up after dogs to keep our parks clean.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide daily updates.
- Maintain ongoing communication throughout the day with headquarters
- Help add new clients by building relationships in your assigned neighborhood/community. Company will provide you with marketing materials.

Requirements:

- Must LOVE dogs, genuinely care for their well-being, and respect their parents.
- Must be reliable, independent, hard working and have problem-solving skills,
- Must be able to provide a high level of customer service for high touch busy clients and their pets
- Pass background check performed on each applicant
- Must own smart phone and be smart phone savvy
- Confident taking photos & videos of the pups for social media
- Clean California drivers license- comfortable driving large vehicle
- Must be in good physical shape and happy working outdoors regardless of the weather (We walk rain or shine).
- No experience needed: 2-week paid training period
- Follow CDC & company health protocols
- At least 1-year commitment required

Compensation:
$22-$30.00 an hour DOE (paid bi-monthly) / approximately a 40 hour work week. Significant additional compensation for signing new clients and pet sitting / boarding.
